Hoping somebody might be able to help me identify this plant. I've recently noticed it near where I work and was wondering what it was, since the flowers were nice.

My first thought is a variety of Dietes but flower is wrong for these two.
African iris (Dietes iridioides)
Butterfly Iris (Dietes grandiflora)

I believe I. japonica was/is commonly sold in various general plant catalogs, making it even more likely to be that one.
