Background history:

'Loud Girls' is a semi-evergreen tetraploid introduced in 2008 by Judy Davisson. Judy is also known as "Davi" here on ATP! Check out her website for more of her beautiful daylily creations: http://www.picturetrail.com/da...

A wonderful interview with Judy can be viewed here: http://hemaholicsanonymous.blo...... as well as this short video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?...

Juli started a thread about Judy Davisson: The thread "ATP Series: The Daylilies of Judy Davisson" in Daylilies forum

Loud Girls is a mid-season bloomer. It is listed as both pod and pollen fertile. It currently has 2 registered children: http://garden.org/plants/paren...

This plant can be found in the NGA Plant Database at:
Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Loud Girls') .

Please join in, if you own this plant! We would love to know more! I award an acorn for performance information posted to this thread.

Also, please consider adding a "Local Report" to the NGA Plant Database! Thank you!

I think there is a typo in the description above. The hybridizer is named Judy not "udy," lol! Smiling

LOUD GIRLS is a fantastic pink--a truly improved version of its parent WEBSTER'S PINK WONDER with richer color, better (sturdier) scapes and improved flower form. It also improves on WPW by being easily pod fertile as well, even in hot, dry weather in full blazing sun. Pods have lots of big fat seeds too. It has been completely hardy for me and it is a wonderful garden performer.
