If this a Bindweed it is the smallest I have seen , This is about 1/8 to 1/10 th , the size of what I know as Bindweed .
In the Butterfly garden if a plant is not chewed up I feel like a failure

If it's attached to a twining vine, then yes, it is.

Yes it is a vine , so it is a miniature bindweed ? I have the large flowered ones here now also ,
