Thread OP

I have plants that have popped up all over my flower gardens and in potted plants which leaves look just like the leaves of the Pride of Barbados. I have intentionally kept some growing wondering if they are indeed Pride of Barbados but they have never bloomed. (I pull the others up since they are invasive). I love in Fort Worth, Texas. Any ideas what these are - again the leaves look just like the blooming plant. Thank you

Welcome! Cindy!

Could you post a pic or two?
There are several possibilities...They could be weeds...
A couple things that come to mind are Mimosa, and Chamber bitter, but pics could really pin it down. Smiling

I agree, could be a weed; if you can post photos that might help with a more exact identity. A bunch of weeds have leaves that resemble Pride of Barbados and Royal Poinciana.

Chamber Bitter is a common "volunteer" around here.
