Lovely! Such beautiful colours. Hope my new ones blooms for me next spring.

I haven't seen that species of Kalanchoe before, I googled what it looks like when mature, and it is amazing. Must add it to my growing list of succulents to find over here in nz.

Lovely blooms there Steve! Glad to see the semps have new babies already, so once mommy plant fades away you have a new batch coming about. I always feel bittersweet when semps bloom, I know it is the last phase, but as long as it makes new ones in time, life goes on!

I love Fall season, it is perk up time for the succulents, just before the cold weather sets in. Last time for nice blooms to show before they rest again and come back nicely once more in Spring.

Monique you will love Kalanchoe luciae..I saw a nice group of them before in the Getty museum succulent garden in Los Angeles during New Year, they look so bright red cute, as it gets cold stressed, like cute red paddles:

I didn't know that once semps bloom they die, learnt something new today.
