Hibiscuses have a reputation of being very heavy feeders so they will certainly benefits from fertilization. Don't use traditional "Bloom" fertilizers as they are high in phosphorus which Hibiscuses don't care for. Hidden Valley Hibiscus recommends 17- 5 - 24 or similar ratio.
