Thread OP

Does aloe Vera grow in Colorado?
I live in Fort Collins at elevation of 6800 ft and if I adapted to winter temperatures ( oh, plant is planted in the sun). Or must it be planted indoors? Thank you in advance for any help you give.

Aloe vera can't take freezing temperatures. I'm not sure if just covering it would save it or not. I guess you could experiment. Leave a small section outdoors and take the rest inside for winter.
