It's the tail end of a tropical storm that's coming our way, Marilyn.. We're supposed to get some decent rain here.. hope it still has some oomph left for you after it crosses the state..

I talked to my friend in Southern California tonight and they got rain today. Hurray! Is the rain missing central CA?

it depends where in socal. we hardly got what i would call "real" rain. it drizzled for about 3 min. it was completely dry after 5 min. Shrug! no moisture that penetrated more than 1/16" (or probably less).

My rain gauge is nearly empty. I'll have to water what I planted yesterday.

I'm sorry, all of CA needs rain. The weatherman said we are supposed to get rain for the next two weeks. What is the forecast for central CA?
Edit: weather forecast changed rain until 11-1-16 now.

We got about a half an inch last time I checked around 7.. it started coming down with a little more intention later this evening. The late news said not as much as they originally thought. Several days of on and off...

It started drizzling when I got home from work...but I wanted to get a few weeds that just popped up with the torch. I managed to get myself fairly wet, but got about half of the long bed done. I was only able to get a few beds done last week with A 50lb sack of Preen.. I must not have gotten it thick enough, because there are plenty of weeds in those beds. Glare

Clear day Saturday.. I hope to get a few in the ground..
