Your pots look so nice and tidy and very happy rhizomes.

Get it in the ground and it's going to bloom three times a year.

Those happy rhizomes came from Superstition, Mariposa Iris Gardens, and a kind ATP'er (I'm still not used to the change! ) They are the ones that are new this year!!

It feels good to have gotten the rest of my pots and planted irises cleaned up and ready for the coming rain! Please let it rain lots !!!

it depends where in socal. we hardly got what i would call "real" rain. it drizzled for about 3 min. it was completely dry after 5 min. no moisture that penetrated more than 1/16" (or probably less).

She lives in Valencia, just north of the San Fernando valley.

My rain gauge is nearly empty. I'll have to water what I planted yesterday.

I'm sorry, all of CA needs rain. The weatherman said we are supposed to get rain for the next two weeks. What is the forecast for central CA?

We got about a half an inch last time I checked around 7.. it started coming down with a little more intention later this evening. The late news said not as much as they originally thought. Several days of on and off...

It started drizzling when I got home from work...but I wanted to get a few weeds that just popped up with the torch. I managed to get myself fairly wet, but got about half of the long bed done. I was only able to get a few beds done last week with A 50lb sack of Preen.. I must not have gotten it thick enough, because there are plenty of weeds in those beds.

Clear day Saturday.. I hope to get a few in the ground..
