I stopped at the nursery on the way home and they had a sale, of course I had to go crazy. When I got home DH was rushed to the hospital and I did not have time to unload the car.

When I got home I was tired and I just got out of the car and went to bed. I got up the next morning and when I got in the car the fragrance was beautiful. I had put the bushes in the trunk but there was not room for the three Hosta that were blooming. so they were placed on the floor in front of the back seats. If you have never had a fragrant blooming Hosta you are missing a beautiful fragrant experience. It is like a soft smelling gardenia.

It made me feel so good these last three days I have not removed them. It calms me as I drive to the hospital. Rolling on the floor laughing

Hope your husband is doing well. Some Hostas have a fantastic fragrance, I could see them as being calming.

Cinta, funny the little things we come up with to get thru the rough spots. You are sure in my thoughts and prayers.
I hope the hosta are still aromatic, and got a kick out of seeing you shared this, while so stressed. Your love of plants is deeply rooted, and comforting for you. Pretty amazing Cints!

Drive careful. Please let us know when he comes home is feeling better.

You are not nagging me Laurie I appreciate that people care. We all have our cross to bear do the best we can and keep pushing.

The Hostas are still in the car I might take the ones out that are through blooming but I am leaving the one that is still blooming its head off and it has a lot more buds to open. I am going to enjoy it as long as possible.

Cinta ... I just found this thread. I wanted you to know that you and your DH have my prayers, too.
I'd rather weed than dust ... the weeds stay gone longer.

Oh! What's that?! ....oops...
Praying for the hubby!

It's pretty awesome though how things like that happen though. Just when we need it the most, our favorite things show up. I see it as a reminder that no matter what happens, everything is going to be alright.

My favorite phrase in the scriptures is, "It came to pass".
It isn't here to stay. It's not here to move into your home and take up full-time residence. It came, so it can pass.
Thinking of you today.

Hoping you get yourself a new aromatic plant to keep in the car, asap. I love air fresheners in my car, and buy every new fandangled thing they put out there, and much of the time they are not all that. This is a total first, and certainly the best idea of all.
No need for reply, Rest up, and scold that dh to hurry up and get better already. You could be missing some great sales!
