This was one of the very best performing daylilies in my garden this year. I did not get a bud count but there were lots and lots of them, plus it was a bud builder. It rebloomed for me, and brightened up my garden for months. It has multiplied very well, and it put out a lot of proliferations also.
Carlotta (or at least the one labeled Carlotta when it came from G. Wild) has not been a great performer for me, at least not yet. I got a teensy start of it this year (last April), and it has grown fine but not bloomed this year. I'm certainly not ready to give up on it as it really couldn't be expected to be a bud builder when it started as all of 2". As a semi-evergreen, it will be interesting to see how it holds up through our winter. I'm expecting blooms (and maybe proliferations) next year!

I got this one two years ago and let it sit around in a pot for half the summer before finally plunking it in the ground in a wild area that gets watered sporadically and never weeded. It bloomed the first year in the pot, but I haven't seen a flower since. It's getting bigger so I haven't given up on it. It is a pretty color.

Carlotta came here from Gilbert Wild several years ago. It is planted in a crowded location. It does well here once it start blooming around mid season. Unusual bagel form.
