Is this a Passiflora lutea? I have several in my front flowerbed. Since we just moved in June, I have not seen a mother plant. Thanks

I am not sure what it is. Wish another member can recognize it soon.

Might be... or maybe a moonseed... Looks too stout to be a wild cucumber....

Could you stand farther back, and include the other vine(s)?

Of course.... maybe the previous tenant kept it cut back... are you in a drought?

It really does resemble Wild Yellow Passion Flower (Passiflora lutea)

I'll try to get another pic tomorrow. Rained a good part of the day today so not in a drought. The flowerbeds were completely weeded last April. This, briars and other suckers were removed about the time we moved in.

Yeah, I googled kerrville after posting.... Looks like excellent gardening weather... Try googling my weather :(

Either moonseed or passiflora could be making a slow recovery after having been pulled out earlier this year... But with the rain y'all are getting Ida expected more growth than we're seeing in the pic.
