Lovely blue color, really tells me cool season is here!
My blooms for this November:
Oncidium Sharry Baby:
Usually growing outdoors in my grow camp and moved upstairs to warm up and coax the buds out:
brought it downstairs now so I can see it more often. I like it when the lower lip makes those pinkish hues:

Ok, not so many blooms like Sherry's Camellia to expect this year, still mine likely will do much better than last year. Instead of only about a dozen flowers last year, my fragrant Camellia has shown "dozens" of buds this year:
And here comes a strange sight of the remains (stems) from Aloe blooms in summer:
If a plant looks good, smells good, don't eat it, grow it!

Thanks Carol! It is Oncidium season for me, the only ones I can get to nicely bloom here so far like clockwork around Fall. Hope to see your orchids soon!
This is the second one to come up in a clump of carex dug for me from my friend's garden...it will be interesting to see if the clumps all came from the same area, if they might all have schizo seedlings in them....and all the more to reseed!
I could be wrong...
and.....
"maybe I should have kept my mouth shut....."
The Urge for Seeds is Strong in This One.....

I wish I could say that! Dry as a bone here this week. Lows never below 56 and highs ranging from mid 70s to low 90s. No rain in sight. Last week the nightly fog helped a lot, but...typical fall (though no major wind events yet) in so. Cal. Hope you northerners pile up lots of snow this winter, because us southerners are going to need it, if the weather guessers are right.

Been waiting for this solitary bud to bloom..finally it is here woohoo! My Passiflora edulis 'Frederick'. The ants surely love that bud, been going about it the whole bud formation time.
