I've noticed over several threads people have mentioned suppliers that they like to get their amaryllis from and ones to avoid, wondering if we could put them all in one thread?

I will start it off,

I've had success with the following suppliers:

Colorblends
John Scheepers
Hidden Springs Flower Farm (purchased on site) they do mail order esp known for peonies.

I have had good luck with bulbsdirect.com and easytogrowbulbs.com. I have heard great things about royalcolors.com, so may buy from there also. So far, have had problems with dutchgardens.com - waiting to see if they are going to make things right for me. Crossing Fingers!

Oh, and I have had good luck with http://www.edensblooms.com -- they are a small family run farm/company, so if you have to e-mail them, figure on at least a day or 2 for a reply, as the husband and wife run all parts of the company.

I'd highly recommend Royal Colors. I've used them in the past and have just had new bulbs from them. They are very good.
