Daylily (Hemerocallis 'California Classic')

I planted CC last August. I haven't had a lot of growth or action this year. I only got three flowers, the first of which was stunningly ugly. #2 was pretty bad too. Here's flower #3, not terrible. I'm assuming this cv is just getting it's root system together and I should see more action next summer

2022- I'm afraid to say, California Classic didn't do much this year either. Still sitting at four fans, it only produced 7 blooms from June 29- July 8. Many of them were gnarled and blotchy. It's in a good spot, so it's not that. Well, I sure hope it improves next year. I like the flower very much, when it's not twisted or weird.

2023…nope. No better. Only two blooms. But the plant did grow to 5 fans. Hope springs eternal.
