Here is the latest tidbit of information about Superstition Iris Garden's 2017 lineup!

"DECEMBER 1st!! We will start unveiling our 2017 introductions on Thursday December 1. We will have 11 introductions for 2017, our most ever and we'll cover almost all bearded classes! The lineup is 1 reblooming MDB (our first MDB ever), 1 SDB, 1 space-age IB, 1 BB, 1 AB, 2 aril-medians, and 4 TBs. For those interested in "pre-catalog" orders, we should have the "added/discontinued" lists available by mid-December. Normally we start accepting "pre-catalog" orders on January 1, but for this sales year (2016) we started on December 15. No start date has been determined for 2017 "pre-catalog" orders yet, so stay tuned to this page so you can be in position #1 Smiling Also, our photo albums have not yet been reflected as to 2017--we hope to accomplish that by mid-December also."

OH BOY. I can't wait Hurray!

Here is a picture taken in their "garden" on the 16th of November. This is seedling 13-AM-01-06-RE

"Current photo taken yesterday! Showing a portion of an aril-median planting that we have lined out for final evaluation as a potential introduction in 2018. 13-AM-01-06-RE, parentage is Dragon's Eye X a reblooming SDB seedling (Cat's Eye x Replicator). Incredibly strong rebloomer and very vigorous grower here in Zone 8, has been in and out of bloom since early September."

Dang; we have to wait until 2018 for this one (or maybe even later) Crying

Maybe they are choosing better plants to cross with which then produce better offspring. Or, maybe they just started in this direction and got goo results. Either way, I like what I have seen so far!😊

I think they got a good number of seedlings from a good cross. My 10 cents worth. Hope you had a good T-Day Greg. Don't be such a stranger. Smiling
