Thanks, Char!

I was really surprised at the prices for Mike Grossman's intros! His whole collection is what some sell a fan or two for. Very reasonable. If I had the money and location, I'd certainly consider his collection.

I love the names that Bret Clement picked for his: http://www.clementgarden.com/2...

I also like the red blooms with pink watermark throats. So unusual. And their names: "It's Glad Cows Don't Fly" and "The Gift Of Giving".

I like Bret's rose red "It's Glad Cows Don't Fly" too. Had a good chuckle when I read the name. Pat Ball's Midsummer Tranquility caught my eye, very pretty with the huge green throat on the cream tepals, also noticed it said Sold Out. Jamie's Overflowing Grace and Spacecoast Tiger Bite looked really good to me....

I received a 2017 catalog from the Trimmers today, their website doesn't appear to be updated yet.

It is kinda fun to kick back, relax, look at all the images and read the descriptions after the busy time of the holidays. I tend to skim over them then go back and look more closely. Found Jim Murphy's cool new poly, Poly Nation, the second time visiting his website.

This list is the kind of thing that breaks my heart . I would love to support American sellers but simply can't do it if they don't ship to Canada. I am not sure why fewer and fewer sellers are willing to do the phyto certificate thing It is such a shame . It cant be much different to obtain one in the US than it is here in Canada and it is such a simple procedure . It is depressing to miss out on some of the beauties being created by great daylily growers in the US. Sighing!

I think I would adopt a "cousin" on the other side of the border
so I had a reason to take a "vacation" occasionally.

I am just wondering if a lot of people are no longer shipping across the border if some legislation has been passed (as so often happens) that is making it more frustrating, time consuming and more expensive than it used to be?
