thanks, Gene! as a biophiliac, I certainly believe people need plants indoors.. I shared this for my coworkers, who do appreciate me taking care of plants at my workplace (and it lets me have more plants Thumbs up )
Plant it and they will come.

I do not have an office to go to. But, I do love being surrounded by living things and lots of sunshine (lights) in my house in the Winter. Not to mention the clean fresh air I get. Gene

My office had black mold found a few months ago. We were evacuated, allowed only coats and personal items. No one assumed we would be abandoning our plants. There are people who have lost plants they have shared the work day with for 20 years, and I have a feeling it will be a while before people bring any back in.

My profession is caring for plants in office environments, so I appreciate all that has been written in that article as well as ongoing research that continues to establish the many benefits that plants provide.

I had almost the opposite experience from Laurie's. After 9/11 in NYC, many local schools were closed for 1-3 months due to air quality issues. When they re-opened, we brought in dozens of large plants donated by FL nursery growers to the classrooms to help clean the air and lift the spirits of students and staff.
