I live in Bridge City, Texas. A town surrounded by fresh, salt, and brackish water near the coastline of the gulf. Southeast texas is a very humid area. I was interested in getting some norfolk pines to grow in my yard. I know Southern Pines do great in this area but after reading up on them it sounds like Norfolks aren't anything like Southern Pines. Temperature varies from at the highest over 100° during the summer and the lowest can be below 32° with an average low of around 40. If it does drop below 32° it will not stay there for an extended period of time. Maybe during the night and back up again by noon. Any suggestions?
