I'm trying to hide an unsightly retaining wall, and curious if anyone has suggestions as to what I can plant? There is some room in a 2' wide strip above the wall for some sort of trailing/cascading plant I've debated licorice plant and ornamental oregano, or prostrate juniper or a low-growing cotoneaster (this property is in located in Oregon USDA zone 8b and I come from the SE part of the country and have limited experience with these plants here!) The wall retains a yard that kids play in, and I need something that doesn't flower and attract bees because of an allergy. Any and all help is appreciated!
