I grew this red beauty for the 2011 season and never did find it after that. I love red flowers in the garden.

Mesa scarlet hasn't been available for the last several years, but I continue to take cuttings and grow it each season. It begins blooming very quickly and never stops. Even in marginal sun it blooms well. It's such a reliable bloomer, with pretty good form, I just don't want to part with it.

Good for you! I haven't had it since I grew it in 2001. I'll find some red flowered salvias, most like from Flowers By The Sea. http://www.fbts.com/
