I have had Early Snow in my Ohio garden for many years. It has a good plant that increases very well, and has survived
temps at -25 with ease. Not as ruffled as many evergreens, but it is a better bloomer than many. It does bloom early in
the season after some of the very early spiders, and is always consistent, with a nice amount of blooms.

Thanks to Deryll, I have Early Snow also. Transplanted into my 5b garden in September, ES settled in nicely and put on very nice new growth. ES is the second clump to the right at the bottom of the photo.

I bought Early Snow as a potted plant from a local nursery. It has done very well in my northern garden. Our past two winters have been very cold with late springs, but Early Snow came through just fine. It is in a fairly shaded spot and it has bloomed well in spite of the shade. We have removed some trees, so it should bloom even better this season! I set a pod on it last summer, as well. The flower is quite large, too, so it is quite impressive.

Early Snow is a vigorous one for me here. I have it planted near all my other Near Whites in a Part Sun spot with sandy soil that I added some compost to which doesn't seem rich enough for the other DLs nearby and it is the best performer out of all of them. It also is true to it's name and blooms Early for me.

I planted this twice, once in 2018 and once in 2019, tiny shriveled fans from G Wild. They are both on Upper Daylily Hill, which gets shade all morning. I started to see bloom almost right away ( after a year of settling in). Last year, ES bloomed from July 18- August 12 making it a ML in my yard. This year, it bloomed from July 6-31, a little shorter bloom time, due to heat and drought conditions.

2023, blooming from July 17- August 2, I counted about 9 blooms. It's getting squeezed out by other plants.
