Thread OP

Hello all,

So happy for some help with this one - I got a bag of "mixed" herb seeds from a friend and these beauties came up. Only 3 of them but each was a slight different color - one has a pink stem with green leaves, one a green stem with green leaves and the pink stem with pinkish leaves. Very beautiful and the seeds are unique. Originally before the seeds I thought it maybe amaranth - but nope ~ Any ideas?

Would you mind giving us some idea where the plants are growing? and where the seeds came from - from where did the friend send them? Thank You!

Of course - sorry, they are growing in Australia and the seeds came from the US.
I have searched and searched the internet and found nothing exact - the leaves do not really have a smell or taste.

Are they climber? or made rosette?, not know much of this, but seed and leaves indicates member of buckwheat family, the polygonacea. like polygonum scandens? (but that's a climber, so no match, or some type of rumex may be?). Perhaps whole plants photo will be also needed for someone to ID it precisely
