Did anyone post the pictures of your peony gardens, for example, on the Garden Photos forum? Any pictures of peony walks? Please, post a couple of pictures of your entire gardens with peonies. Thank You!

Most of my peony pics are of individual blooms, mainly because we have a LOT of hail and my foliage normally looks diseased! I'll look at old photos to see if I have any from far enough away to share.

My yard is very small, and the kids take over most of the space with the pool, trampoline, playground set, etc.......so my flower bed just around the house, space are limited, garden pictures aren't good at all, here are the couple of it.

Annette, your garden is gorgeous!!! I loved your "Keiko" , it's been on my wanted it list for a while, just can't talk myself to spend $100 on it, hopefully I be able to found it in a local nursery this year. Crossing Fingers!

Thanks Yan, I got Keiko as a 3 gallon potted plant several years ago from one of our local nurseries. It's one of my favorite Itohs.

Gorgeous gardens, Yan and Annette! Bet they are even lovelier in person. I wish my garden is more orderly and has preconceived theme but alas it is not. I planted them as they came and cramped them in too close so they look really overcrowded. I guess it is a "natural" style. Smiling Smiling

Some pics of my garden beds during peak bloom time:

North side of the driveway. This bed is a memorial for my sweet and lovely mother who passed away in 2013.

Yan, OMG, your peonies are spectacular. If I am not mistaken, that's Shimadaijin that dominates in the third picture. Do you have one or two of them? What is the pink one in the first picture?

Annette, love your Keiko in combination with the purple clematis. I also like the mulch that you use. It looks very natural.

Thank you both for posting these beautiful pictures. Thank You!

Karen, your garden is FANTASTIC! I'm a big fan of the crowded look, it's a cottage style garden. The memorial bed for your mom is so beautiful! I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your mom :grouphug:!

I also used to plant wherever when my plants arrive. Now, I try to do color echoes when I can.

Thanks Jasmine :tiphat:, the mulch is pine straw.

Karen, love your garden, it's very natural looking. I also love Rose too but I'm not a big fan of pesticides, it looks good in the Spring when they first blooms and then looks horrible in the Summer, the beetle never leave them alone.
Thank you! Jasmin
The first picture is " Blue Sapphire", the third one is " Sheng Ge Jin", Shimadaijin is the first left on the fourth picture, I only had one, but I had couple of same color, different varieties, I will post all of them in the Spring.

Thank you for your kind words, Annette and Yan. You are right, Yan. The roses look best in the spring. Between late June and mid August, they look terrible due to the Japanese beetles and blackspot. Right about that time, I have daylilies blooming so that kind of distracts me from the ravages of the beetles. The roses start to look better by end of August for the fall flush so it is not too bad. I get used to it. I try not to use pesticides. Though I had to resort to pesticide two years ago to control rose midges. Those are really terrible critters to roses.

What a great thread, Jasmin!
Yan , Karen, and Annette your photos are wonderful!
I tend to concentrate on taking close up photos of the blooms, rather than of the complete garden beds. I did find this photo I took at dusk last year.

Thanks LG, yes there is a slight slope off to the right side. The majority of my property is sloped and always adds a challenge when landscaping.🙂

Just lovely, Craig! Do I detect some walkways between the plants?
