Chesapeake Bay is an early to mid-season EMO bloomer with possible re-bloom. It is listed as both pod and pollen fertile. There are currently no listed registered children.
I did get this plant way back in 2016, seems like only yesterday. I got it from Rainbow Acres out in California. It has been one of the more popular plants in my garden and I have divided it on at least two different occasions. It is a very fertile pod parent and the pollen is good also. It first bloomed April 2017, it had performed well every year since I think. I did show some rust in the years before I started spraying.
I suppose over the years there have been different cameras, different lighting, and just different looks to the blooms. It blooms nicely up out of the foliage.
