I know miniatures have been brought up before, some were very healthy threads.
I adore minis but I really love the truly tiny ones such as Nano Probe, Irish Elf and Dragon's Orb. The 2.5" range and smaller. What are some of the really little 'uns that you like?

Are you interested in just the size of the flower, or do you want the foliage to be small, as well?

Too Cute is a tiny little flower that I have grown for a couple of years.
It is taller than most of the really small ones.

I grow more than 100 small and mini daylilies but trying to think of the really tiny flowers among them.

Thank you for all of your great replies. I have 2 dozen minis at this time. Going over them and checking the size, I was amazed that Dragon's Orb is not registered at 2.5 or smaller.
This is what I have now. Dark Avenger, Little Rainbow, ME Anderson, ( my second favorite of all time) Nano Probe, Nacogdoches Bing Cherry, Sensuous Burgundy, Tiny Toon, Tropical Delight. I 'm going to go back and savor y'alls suggestions! Lovey dubby Lovey dubby

Great thread Kabby! I'll have to check some of these out later because I want minis with short foliage and scapes to add to the Fairy Garden.

Ginny these would be perfect for a Fairy Garden.
Valerie, Cosmopolitan is on my wish list, I must have checked out the size before. It's a pretty petite cv.
Joe I didn't know La Mucho Minto was that small. I like the look of it.
Lisa I love Lightening Bug and Cute As A Button!
Mike I like your selections, Justin George and Bertie Ferris. I don't have that many oranges.
It seems to me that I should have Small Gesture and You Angel You. I have had them before, nice and tiny!

STELLA BELLA at 2.5 inches. The bees you see in the photograph are tiny native bees at about 4mm. I think the blocked flower shape is off interest.

This cultivar is tissued cultured and sold commercially here. It multiplies quickly and blooms muchly and certainly doesn't act as a dormant in the subtropics.

I have a love hate relationship with minatures. I plant them as border plants but as my garden expands they become hidden centre plants that are hard to find.

The problem is that when you are young your life it is ruined by your parents. When you are older it is ruined by your children.

I bought Riot on a Kindergarten Bus last spring and for some reason it did not live but a couple of months. I have a few daylilies die but I expected this one to do well for me. I do want to see if I can get it again.

Another one that did pretty well for me and rebloomed is Little Surfer Girl.

This one was my most used pollen parent for mini and small flower seeds in 2016.

Thanks Ashton Little Surfer Girl is definitely a keeper. Drooling
Well I was looking for Small Gesture and I found the tag only so I guess it was a casualty of the drought last yr.
Betty even though Riot On The Kindergarten Bus is considered a small flower it is a UF so that's a step in the "riot" direction.
