Hi! I've had these plants in my apartment since summer. They were given to my family when my brother was in the hospital, but I don't know what they are! I think I have been overwatering them. I normally touch the dirt every couple of days to see how dry it is, and if it is really dry i will water them. However, I'd love to know the best way to care for them! Also, I just purchased an orchad and I'm about to repot it. I'd also love to know how to care for it. Any help you could provide would be great!! Thank you so much!

4th photo: a really happy looking Phalaenopsis. I don't understand why you feel the need to repot. It looks great!

In fact, they all look great. If you've had them since last summer, you are doing very well. Keep it up.

First of all, I wouldn't repot the orchid while it is in bloom. It will be happy enough in that pot for a while.

Your first picture appears to show a Dieffenbacchia and a Syngonium. The second picture also has a Dracaena. The third one could be an Aspidistra.

Hey.. they both not save to eat right :)
I think dieffenbachia always have thick stem while aglaonema much thinner.

XiaoLong, That was a joke. I won't eat either of them. And it wouldn't be a good way to tell them apart anyway as they both contain calcium oxalates so the result of me eating them would be the same - stabbed to death from the inside. (actually, not deadly, just surprisingly uncomfortable).
