Daylily (Hemerocallis 'On and On')

On and On has been an understated small workhorse here in 7a. Increases well and makes a rounded clump for the front of the border. Starts blooming here in May here. Sometimes early May, but May 27th this particular year:



Blooms are held just above the foliage. Registration stats are accurate here. June 6th:

The glowing pigment in the eyezone adds interest. A rare poly bloom:

Last of the first round of bloom, June 17th:

And July 11th she's back! She will rebloom intermittently until late in the season. Pod and pollen fertile.

On And ON is a little cutie with good substance. Definitely a front of the border plant. Consistently rebloom in my zone:5 garden every year till frost. Fertile. Good increaser.
