Vigorous and very well budded. Blooms later in the season. Big--both blooms and plant size. The size for me is a bit of a downside, as it is a space hog. But it's a radiant blossom, worthy of its HM.

This is a very vigorous plant in my zone 5. Extremely Pod fertile, and passes on great characteristics to it's "offspring". (40 children)

I just acquired this plant in the fall. With the great reviews, I can't wait to see it this year. I also planted it in an area where there is a lot of room for it to grow, because I heard that it was a space eater.

David - please comment this year on your plant's performance. I want to give you an acorn tip based on your experience with this cultivar.

Grew this one for many years.....had one of the biggest root systems and fan size imaginable....I sold it by the double fan because I couldn't get 3 fans in any box and it cost me an arm and a leg for shipping! Fabulous daylily. Perfectly formed flowers and wonderful scape. Curt had a real hybridizing gem with this one!

WSM likes my zone 4 garden it has been here for years. Well deserved the Honorable Mention award it recieved. This one has sturdy scapes with beautiful blooms. I have not added a picture to the database, sometime I will have to look thru my photo files or take another one and add mine.
If you want to be happy for a lifetime plant a garden!

I'm in zone 9a and WSM has done very well here.
Blooms almost constantly, increases, and sets pods readily.
A good plant.

WSM is a fabulous plant. I have grown it for 2 seasons with it blooming late, Aug 26 until frost. Cool nights do not affect this plant. It grew to 36" in 2017 {registered at 41"}, bud count of 16 with 4 way branching. A good show late in the season.
