Here is my set up. It is a bit different, being in a small green house in addition to the containers. I also have a flat there too.

I sowed butterfly weed, a few varieties of Kale including Coalition and Dazzling blue Lacinato, Chiriman Chinese cabbage, parsley, purple prairie clover, and a mixed pollinator mix.

I have never tried winter sowing this way. Do you guys have thoughts?

I'm no winter sowing expert, but I think it looks great! My only worry would be the wind-those greenhouses are pretty light, do you have it protected from wind gusts? Someone gave me one of those units and I'm hoping to use it as a cold frame to harden plants off as I move them from the lights in the basement to the great outdoors. My fear is that I'll have it loaded with baby plants and then have it blow over.........

That looks like a good set up for winter sowing.
I have done similar.
Once warm weather comes, you might need to move some things out as those plastic GH do trap the sun's heat.
For winter it is great.

And once it's open, watch carefully for moisture. In your climate I guess they might dry more slowly than here, but cells can dry out fast.

My only thought is trying to keep them from drying out...out in the open with vented lids they will get the natural moisture from rain and snow. Are you able to keep them watered if need be?

Do you have mice there?-I once lost a tray of sweet pea starts because I left it with the clear lid loose. The mice climbed under and destroyed the sowings.

Yeah, its going to warm up real fast! Your'e going to have to keep a real close on on it.

I wish I had something like that last year. I had stuff up way too early. It would've been nice not having to bring stuff in every night
