This one didn't like my garden it was given a number of years before leaving. All the daylilies around it did fine so the area it was planted in should have worked.
If you want to be happy for a lifetime plant a garden!

It grows fine here, but is not heavily budded. This dip does not have the thick substance of a tet and does not make a spectacle like Free Wheelin, but it is very graceful.

Airy and graceful when it's blooming, but not as many buds to bloom as many of the other daylilies here. It blooms for about 3 weeks, which is what I record instead of keeping up with how many buds live to bloom. It gives a few poly blooms along the way. It also rebloomed in 2015. The plant has increased steadily. The foliage also would be the type I'd call evergreen. It's an early starter in spring and begins blooming around mid-May here. I do grow the dls in large containers, so that may effect anything I observe. 'Marked By Lydia' just got upsized into a nursery tree pot, so it has a lot more room if the weather cooperates. I am satisfied with it as a performer here.

I've had Marked by Lydia for quite some time. Never had to divide it yet. It is a very lovely flower that gets noticed in the garden. I have two crosses in my seedling bed: Trahlyta x MBL and Holly Dancer x MBL. I may see blooms from the seedlings this year, but most likely next year. First time with seedlings and REALLY looking forward to seeing their first blooms.

Great daylily here for many years, one of the few Temple daylilies I still grow.
