The latest NALS quarterly came out. Auratum was that you in the photo of the group @ the Duck Inn? Perhaps Tracey, were you one of the volunteers photographed sorting bulbs after the big dig? It is nice to put a face to some of the online identities of the people here.

And yup that is me. Not very flattering picture. Lol. But what can you expect on bulb digging and dirt adventures, I guess.

And the three in the back are from the Minnesota (but not me). They came two days after the party had already started.

I believe they call us the lucky ones. Honored and privileged to be a part of it. Digging bulbs by hand, I learned, work muscles you never knew you had.

yes Lorn, that's me next to Tracey, packing up bulbs. I'd rather have done more digging. lol Boxing up the lilies took a lot of time. I think we had something like 50 boxes of bulbs fully packed. An experience of a lifetime though. Wish I could have met Bob in person. But I talk to him now and then over the phone

but that being said, digging and packaging bulbs was the easy part. Jeff Stiller had the hard part. organizing the whole thing, picking the people to help. Organize the dates and the people. and knowing this is his mentors lily field he was digging up. Had to be a rough day.

Got mine today. Love the new format! Patrick, your mind must've been overflowing from all the lily genius. I had had the pleasure of meeting Tracey and Lorn at last years NALS in Chicago. Dave, well he's just old hat! Lol

Speaking of NALS show. Anyone on here going to St. Louis?

Got mine yesterday but didn't get a chance to read it last night - it is top priority tonight.

Joe - I agree the new format is very nice. And my head was bursting with information from both Bob & Judith. It was priceless to hear them discuss lily breeding!
