Hello I am having a hard time identifying this plant. It resembles the California poppy in shape but not so much with color I just moved here a few months ago and just brought home two beautiful rabbits, my main concern is if this plant is harmful to them. I'll be posting more threads through this spring my zone is 9b Central Valley ca

My first thought is Larkspur (poisonous). The weed with the little round leaves is either Chickweed (edible) or Scarlet Pimpernel (poisonous).

Maybe you better fence you bunnies into a safe place until you work out all the plants in their new home.

Thanks I didn't know about the scarlet pimpernel! A friend told me that they have the same plant on there ranch and it never flowered! Any other ideas other than carrots lol
P.s they are still hopping around and are really enjoying there new home here!

I agree with Larkspur.

I think Larkspur too... The round-leafed plant is Chickweed. You should be getting little white flowers anytime soon. Mine are in bloom. My chickens love it.

I didn't notice that chickweed in the photo. That's definitely Chickweed (Stellaria media) - edible, delicious and good for you!

If the stems on the 'chickweed' are round, its chickweed. If square, its scarlet pimpernel. I couldn't tell from the pictures.
