These bugs have found my semps and eat through the root which has been devastating to large colonies. Last year, I used diatomaceous earth to no avail. I am about to try Sluggo. Has anyone had luck with this product or another solution?

Probably change the environment, they feed on decomposing vegetation and thrive in a moist setting

I've used Sluggo for forever and never seen a snail, altho I have had to pick some slugs off the bottoms of pots, which just rewards the little devils with more Sluggo UNDER the pot. I've had very few of those pill bugs - I call them roley upey bugs, but now that you mention it they disappeared after I applied Sluggo to that area. I started using it because Annie @ Annie's Annuals recommended it and it works.

I have a lot of pill bugs in my greenhouse. I've cautiously used diatomaceous earth, epsom salts, and safer soap, but it's not cutting their numbers down. Any ideas what I could use that won't hurt the earthworms that are also in my beds?

This doesn't really answer your question but thought I would post anyway.

Thank you for all the suggestions. Karen, I see we hail from the same region. Maybe we are just plagued with these critters. I believe Sluggo is for organic gardeners. The label says it contains, iron, phosphate and spinosad. That is a naturally occurring bacteria found in soil. Guess I will give it a try. Good luck as well. nmschoolhouse

Pill bugs. Sow bugs. Earwigs. Cut worms. Yes ! They eat decaying matter, butt ! They just love little sprouts. Esp. Veges. After i plant my seeds. I sprinkle a little ortho bug-be-gon granualls, just around where i planted seeds. Just takes ownce.
Says its safe for garden. If there is a more organic way of getting rid of the above, someone ! Please let me know.

I am thinking pill bugs are loving being under damp places like my rock border. Chances are your greenhouse pots create the same kind of environment to hide under (and breed!!)
