Iridaceae at Oxford Botanic Gardens 2017 in the Irises forum

Oxford UK (Zone 8a)

As a regular visitor to the Botanic Gardens in Oxford I thought that I would start a thread where I can show the different Iridaceae throughout the year.
Iris magnifica is one of the stars of the garden for me and obviously something as good as this is particularly welcome in the spring...............

I've never seen this one before...............

The label is missing so if anyone has any idea I would be grateful. It is a small low grower with scrappy foliage.

Regarding your little NoID, someone suggested to me it might be Iris unguicularis 'Alba'

Should be the right time of year for it to flower.
