I purchased Edge Ahead in 2010. I've moved it once since then (didn't divide). It should be divided this year but others need it more so it may stay as is. The picture below is from last year. It isn't huge clump but it is thick. Dividing and spreading the fans out would surely help it. This is definitely a keeper in my garden. If I recall, I tried pollinating two years ago and I got some pods from it but they never matured.

A clump of Edge Ahead, surrounded by Turk's Cap lilies (trying to gift those away). A good performer in the south of house bed. I bought two pots of Edge Ahead a few years ago, 2013 or so and both have bloomed and clumped up. This clump, in morning to noon sun, is close to a leaky sill cock so it has had extra irrigation. Its neighbor clump was moved to the deck garden last fall so it will get full sun this year. Both clumps have been reliable growers and bloomers and have gone from two or three fans to clumps of six or so fans. Not a fast increaser, but a reliable grower.
