Does anyone know why some of my hostas are purple when first appearing in Spring and some are green?

I don't really think it is a problem, I think it is just a trait of some of the emerging plants.

I know its not a problem, they seem to turn green as they grow, I was just wondering if anyone knew why they were different colors.
