Poison Hemlock? No, just kidding. I don't know what it is, but it is risky to taste strangers.

Please never taste anything unless and until you have a positie identification that your plant is not toxic. Thank You!

Maybe Anthriscus caucalis/Bur Chervil?
or Anthriscus sylvestris/Wild Chervil?
Both are listed in the Field Guide to Noxious Weeds and other Selected Invasive Plants of British Columbia 8th edition. (Sheesh, long title for a book.)

Unfortunately, the first suggestion doesn't look far-fetched.

Poison Hemlock (Conium maculatum)

Did it have any smell? Anised maybe?
Could it be Myrrhis odorata common name sweet cicely?

I knew it wasn't poison hemlock, which is abundant around where I am, but you're right I need to stop putting random plants in my mouth haha.

Confirmed it's Bur Chervil.

I agree that one should NEVER taste a plant without knowing for certain it's toxic qualities! All of the above mentioned plants are apparently found in your area:

Cow Parsley (Anthriscus sylvestris)
