Things are coming up everywhere! I participated in my first seed swap with y'all last fall and did not do a good enough job marking my sewn seeds. Sharpie markers DO fade. 😐Please ID this for me.

I agree, Phlox ... my first thought was Tall Phlox (Phlox paniculata) but there are many different species.

H. matronalis blooms have 4 petals, but otherwise, quite similar looking.

Thank you very much! I confess I am a bit of a scatterbrain. This clump of phlox (yes, Woodland Phlox! TY) went MIA last Spring. I had received a phlox collection from Brecks, got excited and toted them all off to a steep embankment. A few things (and I) tumbled down the embankment that day. I guess when the phlox and I ended up at the bottom of the hill I must have rolled on top of it and "heeled" it in. What a great surprise to find out it was still here and doing quite well!!! Thank you everyone and have a great weekend!
