I acquired 2 fans of Foolish Fling by mail order last spring. It flowered well its first season in my garden. It came through the winter without problem and is now three fans. I am looking forward to seeing its performance this summer and will update this thread at that time. Edited to add: last year, after my newly acquired daylilies were planted, we went into a prolonged, serious drought. I was pleased that even under such trying conditions, Foolish Fling performed well.

This Daylily is a dear favourite of mine. Don't you love the name, to begin with? And then the bursting open of that lovely colour surprise, endears it to me even more.

I bought it in 2005, and was thrilled with it. Thumbs up In 2006, I bought Fun Fling, but gave it away, because it seemed to be an insult to Foolish Fling. Sad In moving my collection to our new property in 2009, I lost Foolish Fling, D'Oh! so in 2011, I bought another one, and am so glad I did. Something about it just resonates with me. It has such a happy, cheerful face.
Thumb of 2017-05-06/HemNorth/3573b9 I can hardly wait to see it again this year.
