While clearing a bit of land in my garden I dug this up. It was a couple of inches below the surface. Does anyone know what it might be?

A kind of Amorphophallus maybe ? Or cyclamen, since they also have flat bulb. Where the place is ?

In the UK. Cyclamen is a possibility as there are some nearby. I never thought cyclamen could grow that big.
