How long have you had it? I assume it is an SDB. There are three pictures in the database of pink selfs with blue beards, Chanted the oldest, Enchanted Princess and Giddy.
Charlotte, yes an SDB. It came as a bonus 4 years ago, a good spreader. I am not too fussy about names but there are times people want an ID and I'd like to have an answer.

Too much white on the falls for Enchanted Princess or Pinkster. Chanted has a lot of peachy tones in it. Gate to Paradise has open standards like the one pictured but is a paler pink. Giddy may be more of a match. I would need to see closer photos with more details. Are there haft marks? Is the beard red/orange in the throat like Shy Di is? If it is a new one it could be Oh So Sweet. Just need MORE photos from different angles.

Jo Ann. Some irises have very light or white haft marks and some pink irises have dark rose marks while others have none. Some beards that look one color have a different color on the back of the fall and some have color tips on the beards. It all goes into identifying an iris and can be enjoyable. Height, in the little guys, also plays an important role. And some that are very alike in color patterns can have a big difference in bloom size.

I went back into old notes and orders.
In 2013 I ordered dwarfs , among them was Voldy's Mink and Cup of Joy. The iris in question here isn't Cup of Joy but most likely a packing mix up and Chanted, or whatever, was packed instead.

Definitely not chanted. A lot of the pinks with blue/lavender beards have a peach influence as does chanted. I see some tiny lavender dots on the falls that I do not recognize in any of the pinks with blue/lavender beards that I grow. The fall would probably be described as white with a wide buff pink rim and lavender dots. Also, inside the standards on your iris there is a thin lavender stripe running from the base almost to the tip and the standards are more open. The outside of the standards have a definite lavender wash over them. The haft marks on the falls appear to be lavender with a wash of brown on the shoulders. It is a very interesting iris but I do not think I am familiar with it. Sorry I can't be of more help.

I am awed with your intimate knowledge of iris.
I guess it will be a NOID.
I remember ordering Voldy's Mink and Cup of Joe from Snowpeaks and planted what they sent in a triangle.
I love the iris no matter if it isnt Chanted or Cuppa Joe.

Not a jot or a tittle as much knowledge as others, Jo Ann. But..... someday I will see an iris that looks just like yours and I will find you. Until then enjoy it as a NoID. I have a few I would not part with for anything.

I cant seem to leave this iris alone.
I checked my orders for 2014 and did order Cup of Joy.
I checked this with Iris encyclopedia and turnes out one of the parents for Cup of Joy was Chanted.
I had a Bee's Knees that looked a lot like yours. Maybe check that one out. But yes, unless you can grow one beside it, the identity of your iris is never sure.
