Are all Campanula rabbit food? Would like to know before I plant `em so if need be I can protect `em. Spec. Bellflower and clustered Bellflower.
Thank you much!

Don't know Tisha but do know that several of them are extremely invasive (runners) and very difficult to eliminate once they've got going. Haven't found clustered bellflower too bad at all, but I've had a lot of trouble with spotted bellflower running amok.

Thank-you! I`ve looked at spotted bellflowers but didn`t get any yet.
I`ll put all of `em in pots and sink `em.
Rabbits- pull the pots out and raise `em out of their reach.
Runners- pull the pots........
You get where I`m going.
I would love to manage my perennials better.
Thank you for your helpful answer Thumbs up

Trish, have tried pots embedded in soil, but only for yellow loosestrife.
They didn't do the job for me either.

We must be lucky; only see/notice rabbit damage to bulbs in earlier spring. None later.

My feeling is that learning to manage perennials is an on-going learning thing!

There are certainly some great and well-behaved campanula. I especially like the big ones, e.g. Campanula latifolia 'Brantwood' below (June 21, 2014).

Haven`t been able to keep the rabbits away long enough to have plt. behavior problems. Brantwood is the darker blue I want, I put it on my list. Thank-you for intro`ing it to me. Been wondering `bout putting some chicken wire around them to `discourage` the little fur balls. Rabbits, Bless their little hearts Whistling
