Lots of good things to say about this daylily...

I bought this in 2011 (maybe '12) when my only requirement was that it had to be fragrant. I bought five fans and plopped them in, watered them a bit, and just let them go. I gave them my standard level of care, some water during drought, mulch and tried to keep the weeds at bay. I still have three clumps in situ, I transplanted a clump last fall and dug another this spring to share (cough-daylilyitis-cough). I got at least seven or eight fans from the clump. I'll check my notes, I might have actually recorded it...

The field clumps are wanting water... Ignore the fulva crowding them : )

I like the form and color of CL, the way it looks pink-peach from a distance and shades a bit more pink-lavender up close. I don't have much for stats, other than I think it bloomed for 3+ weeks, always had a lovely fragrance, and I used its pollen with success last year.

I have an app this year that will help me keep track of stats this year!

I knew I had more goodies on the laptop...
CL flowered for 4+ weeks. Big color variation throughout the day.
