the photos I sent asking aid i.d.'ing must be from the black oil sunflower seeds I feed the N.E. birds who travel through my section or who linger around year round. I enjoy the songbirds and the pugnacious antics of the hummingbirds who visit annually. One summer tending the moonflowers I grew along side morning glories on the porch pillars I was astonished while tending my flowers before bed for me when I thought I'd been buzzed by a hummer. Was astonished to learn of the existence of Sphinx Moths.

I think I've i.d.'ed the plants I thought were weeds up here in Sec 5a. I'll bet money [or acorns] that what I'm looking at and asking for aid in identifying are sunflower seed seedlings. I've not grown sunflowers B-4, but these were in my perennial garden, all most all scattered under my bird feeders.
