I have had this plant in the house for 6 months, blooming all the time. Can I put it outside now?

Welcome!

Unfortunately, we just don't know enough about your temperatures and environment to give you any advice.

In the U.S., Celosia is considered a 'tender perennial' only doing well in Zones 10 - 12. That means it will not survive temperatures lower than about 1C. According to Texas A & M, Ireland is mostly in Zone 9, while the very low lying coastal areas of Southwest Ireland are in Zone 10.

Do you need to move it outside? If your current temperatures are warmer now, you could move the Celosia outside for the season. Move it slowly to a sunny spot - start it out in the shade and slowly move towards more sunny locations. This could take a week or more.

If your weather is really warm, they definitely can go outside. They don't care for cold weather much. As daisy's said, move them out for small period of time increasing by 1 to 2 hours a day. It's a full sun plant.
