It looks like it started out as a false inflo and then pushed a flower out. I have a few seedlings that have false inflo's right now. I hope they do the same as yours.

I learn something new here everyday. I had no idea they could have false inflo's! So do those always cause branching?

Wow Fake Inflos. I have never seen one. just learned something new. That is why I love these forums....always learning.

Yes, seedlings often 'nub' or produce a false inflo, but the plant does tend to branch after that. This looks like you'll have at least ONE bloom!
