I'm trying to clean up some overgrowth in my backyard. I came across these leaves. I'm afraid to touch them because I already have some poison ivy from working in a different part of the yard. Should I stay away from this too?


I also want to thank the fellow gardeners who helped me last summer a question I had about hedge roses. Thanks to you my three plants are doing so much better this year. Thanks again!!

Those are oak leaves. No poison ivy in sight.

If you're talking about the large leaves in front, it looks like an oak sapling, probably Post Oak (Quercus stellata).
