Hi Susie ! Smiling

What type of gifts are you making ? I love homemade gifts. Green Grin!

Bought our tree Monday and it is up and decorated. I decorated the rest of the house just after Thanksgiving. The lights are up in the front. I have not started baking anything yet. Gifts are ready to be wrapped. Smiling

Just waiting for snow and more cold. Hilarious!

Linda,
I've been making Mug Rugs. I can't remember if I've posted any of them here. I have 3 more pics to take and will post them in a day or two. I love making them but it's become somewhat of an obsession. I need help. I will be working on a volunteer community quilt starting next week (I am piecing and assembling blocks made by others - A Cubits event at A Crafty Cubit.

I may do some baking. There were a few years where I made about 500 cookies for airmen at Luke AFB. I got a little burned out. Kind of thinking of doing it again. It's a 4 day effort. Guess I'd better get busy if I'm going to make it for the Pony Express. (mail)

Susie, I love your mug rugs!! You should post those over in Garden Art in the thread 'Show us what you're working on'! Are you baking yet? I'm about to start... just remember, you don't HAVE to make 500, LOL! I have to remind myself of that also. That is so cool that you are quilting.

This is a nice, long soaking rain. Maybe three days!!! It'll be interesting to find out the inches when it's done. My friend in West Hollywood says it's pouring there... hopefully they save a little for us!

Enjoy! Smiling

Happy Belated Birthday Becky!! Glad your getting so much rain Linda. We have gotten a nice amount up here too. Not much going on with me. No decorations up at all. With my Dh gone I am not much in th emood, he always puts up the decorations and I cannot even figure out the tree and how to put it together. My boys are going to stay with him for Christmas so it will be just my daughter and I. I Am going to buy a small potted tree this weekend if I can find a decent one. We will wrap gifts this next weekend and maybe bake some cookies!

Sounds very cozy, Marie. You and Julie have a Merry Christmas together!

Brenda, I bet you got a load of snow! I wish I could introduce Lexie to some snow. She'd have to wear booties since they clip her hair on her feet so short! You and Tony and Pack have a merry!

Linda, I do remember a December about 15 yrs ago where it rained for 3-4 days. A constant gentle rain. I guess we get lucky every-now-and-then.
