This strange (and tall) plant is growing in the ditches near our Wisconsin home.
It's about 6 ft tall or more!
Can anyone I.D.?

Looks like giant hogweed Heracleum mantegazzianum. Not sure tho, just to be safe don't touch it
The leaves look different but looks very similar, most likely in the same family

I was one of the first 300 contributors to the plant database! Plant Identifier
it reminds me of dill or fennel but the leaves at the base of the plant are wrong for that.

It could be a type of angelica, I believe there are various native forms.
I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.

In doing a little research, it certainly does resemble Angelica atropurpurea!
The ditches by our house are very wet and marshy, so it's an environment they would love to grow in.
