While this one has some interesting blooms, in general it has been disappointing to me. Perhaps it is in a bad location. Quite a few aborted buds and low bud count. I certainly didn't get the number of scapes in some pictures.

Green Arrow is a good grower for me. The flowers hold up well in the heat.

This is the third year I have had this daylily in the garden, but sadly I have yet to see a bloom! I bought it because I love green throated daylilies. The other varieties I bought at the same time are all doing really well - I'll pay special attention to Green Arrow this year and see if I can't persuade it to bloom... Sad

Growing it in a large container, 'Green Arrow' has been a solid plant. Slower to increase than some, but generous with proliferations if you go to the trouble to collect and grow them. It has not reached the 46" scape height indicated in the database. More like 34-36" so it's well above the foliage but well short of the registration indicated. It has never shown any attempt at rebloom. I've raised a couple of seedlings to blooming size using it as both a pod and pollen parent. Not enough to state with a lot of authority on what it can contribute, but on those few the green seen in the blooms has transmitted fairly strongly. And it's that color that really sets this plant off. In Texas with a harsh sun and warm temperatures, it retains the green. Often green fades to yellow early in daylily blooms under my conditions, so any that retain the green tones are notable. A photo from 4 days ago:

I've had Green Arrow for 2 years., It had a scape that year, but I accidentally broke it while watering, so I didn't see it bloom. This year is has increased a LOT!! At least 8 fans. There are alot of scapes and buds, and it will bloom hopefully by next month.
Scape height is also in the mid 30's.

This plant has produced the most proliferations of any plant I have grown.
